        PSIWORLD 2011 Proceedings will be published by Procedia- Social and Behavioural Sciences (ISSN: 1877-0428)   -  through ELSEVIER (www.elsevier.com) - which is also included in Scopus, the abstracting and indexing database, and is also currently being evaluated by ISI for SSI Proceedings inclusion. 

        Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of research literature and quality web sources, covering peer- reviewed titles from over 5000 publishers.

Dear colleagues,

        It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate to the 2ndEdition of the International Conference “Psychology and the Realities of the Contemporary World”- PSIWORLD 2011, which will be held in Bucharest, Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences on October, 27-30, 2011.

        The conference is organized by the Romanian Society of Applied Experimental Psychology with the support of University of Bucharest and of The Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences. The Romanian Psychology Collegium will offer credits for participating at the activities of the conference.

        We celebrate a year since The Romanian Society of Applied Experimental Psychology and The Journal of Applied Experimental Psychology have been founded. The quality of the participants and of the paper works presented at the 1stedition have been nationally and internationally acknowledged and appreciated.

        We are happy to announce that, on the basis of the Contract with Elsevier, all the accepted paper works at PSIWORLD 2011 will be indexed in ScienceDirect, Scopus, as well as in Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (ISI Web of Science).The conference offers the opportunity of famous psychologists to participate and also of numerous practitioners from across the world. We are opened to approaching the most diverse topics which are of major interest for the contemporary world and we hold our belief that psychology’s destiny is played every day where events take place in the most important situations, relevant to the human existence.
