Thank you for your interest in the International Conference “Psychology and the realities of the contemporary world” (October 2011, Bucharest, Romania).

We believe that participating in the review process can provide you with an enriching academic experience, as well as a valuable occasion for mentoring and sharing knowledge and understanding with your colleagues.

All submitted papers will be double-blind reviewed by the designated reviewers selected by the Conference committee.

The evaluation criteria are the following:

- for empirical papers : a clear statement of the focus of the paper, a comprehensive indication of the theoretical framework of the study, an valid  indication of and justification for the research methodology, and accurate presentation of sample data and results.

- for theoretical/philosophical papers: a clear statement of the focus or theme of the paper, a comprehensive indication of the theoretical or philosophical framework within which the focus or theme of the paper is developed, a clearly articulated statement of the author’s position about the focus or theme, and implications.

Reviewers are expected:

- To provide a scholarly appraisal of each paper, but to agree not to limit acceptance of those papers that are not in line with the research paradigms or ideologies they believe in.

- For each paper, to clearly indicate and present sound arguments  underlining their recommendation of acceptance or rejection, which are informative to both the Scientific Committee and the authors.
